Nice beer garden. Great ambience. Waiters are okay, but the beer wasn't what was promised. In the guest room it is apparently possible to play live music. It would be nice to experience it. Unfortunately the line manager had a loud discussion with an employee in front of the guests.

Get a place outside at the Viktualienmarkt. The menu was a bit higher priced (especially drinks), but very tasty and recommended. Very friendly service. No long wait.

Unfriendly staff, when I asked about the toilet, for example, you were poked at immediately!

Every time you visit Munich, you go to Steirer at least once. Everything just fits. Great location, great food, great staff. So absolutely to be recommended. Attention always well attended, so it is better to reserve in advance.

The food is good. The drinks are nice and cool. There is of course a lot of through traffic on the terrace. But that's clear on the Viktualienmarkt. The service staff could be more attentive and respond to requests. You can also work on the speed of the staff or hire more colleagues.

Rude staff, because you look younger you are not treated with respect. No "reunion" from the staff, food was fine, but not for the price. If there was less than one star, we would use it. Restaurant not recommended if you don't look like you own a villa or a Porsche

Food was ok, the wine was delicious. The price is absolutely okay if you look at the location. When we were there, there was a lot going on and you could tell. We waited a long time until we got the menu after several questions and it took a long time to take our order. The invoice was then simply brought without we having requested it. This is definitely better.

Very disappointing! Great location, but good service looks different! Despite reservation, did not get a seat immediately. We had reserved an outside table for Saturday afternoon. When we arrived it was said that there was no table for us. After waiting 20 minutes we got one. (So ​​if you want to have a table outside, you absolutely have to call. The comment field when booking online is ignored!) The waitresses weren't really capable either. After we waited another 20 minutes at the table until something happened, he wanted to bring us the card first. You have to say that there was a lot going on that day, but it cannot be that a service is so badly positioned.

All in all very tasty. The service was very friendly and no problem, even with children and prams. I changed the side dish for my Wiener Schnitzel ... no problem. The beef tartar was very delicious, the Wienerschnitzel too, but maybe a little less fried in butter. Clear recommendation if you are looking for a restaurant in Munich at the Viktualien Markt.

Ignorant waiting staff. Spoke to us with his back turned whilst serving another table. No manners. Then asked if we were able to talk . I then ordered in German and he made fun of my small mistake. We decided to go elsewhere. Would not recommend. You get the impression they feel they don't need to even attempt good customer service because of their location and abundance of tourists. Manners cost nothing. Unfortunately, service in Germany as a whole ranges from lovely to downright ignorant. This was the latter.

Delicious food for lunch and the service was really friendly. Inside there was not much going on and therefore free choice of space, so we had enough room for the stroller and a chair for the little one was also offered. The portions are absolutely fine and priced despite the good location right on the Viktualienmarkt not covered. Keep it up! + Good food + Child Friendly + Nice service

Perfect service, 5* beer and the food is great also. You won’t be dissapointed.

Can’t recommend this place, unfriendly service and slightly dishonest/unclear practices around pricing. We asked specifically about child portions which they said they ”of course” had but when the bill came we we’re charged for an adult anyway - but the portion was smaller than the adult one we also ordered. The food in itself was ok.

Very good food at Viktualienmarkt. Had a Munich schnitzel (pork) and roasted pork with dumplings. Both complemented with great salad plates. Efficient service and vibrant atmosphere. Just off Marienplatz. Would highly recommend

Nice and cozy. There is a wonderful beer and good to very good wines and champagne. The food was excellent and high quality. The location on Viktualienmarkt is of course ideal. Thumbs up!

Spectacular sea food and service... Will come back!

Food was okay but the service was horrendously slow with our waiter seeming the actively avoid our table. For a forced 19% service charge this is unacceptable. Avoid this place if you don't want to sit for four hours to eat a mediocre meal.

Have been coming here for years when in Munich. We started coming here when it was Löwenbräu and now that it has been renovated and menu changed we love it even more. Conveniently located to escape the crowds, it’s a great place to grab a beer and bite to eat. Staff is friendly and the food has a great twist to the traditional Bavarian fare.

We went to eat there twice during our time in Munich. Both times we sat on the terrace on the side and could watch the hustle and bustle on the Viktualienmarkt. The service was very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food came quickly and were very good. We will be back on our next stay in Munich ...

This restaurant blew my mind. We stumbled upon it looking for some schnitzel ANYWHERE and finally decided to eat here. The schnitzel was very good. It didn’t come with any sauce so I asked and the waiter gave me cranberry sauce. At first I was hesitant because I’ve never tasted schnitzel with a sweet sauce but it was delicious. The crown jewel was the soup though OMG cream of spinach with smoked salmon inside. This was unbelievable. I’m going back just for the soup. Trust me im not a spinach fan unless it’s in my fruit shake but this was incredible. GET THE SOUP

Popped in for a beer stayed for a meal . The goulash was well presented and perfectly spiced tender beef .. A modern twist on a much loved classic - delicious ! Convenient for the wonderful market, very clean toilets and free mobile phone charger .Really pleasant helpful waitress .

Nice to enjoy a quick refreshment.
